Share your curriculum map with your mentor and/or a department/content chair, grade level representative, instructional coach, etc. and discuss the changes you made based on feedback received in Topic 4 and cross-curricular, differentiation, and culturally responsive components added in Topic 5. Discuss how and where you have and would continue to meaningfully integrate technology into your curriculum map for improved student learning.
Include the following in the discussion:
How do they determine when and where to integrate technology?
What technology-based resources, instructional strategies, and activities have they successfully integrated into their lessons?
What changes or additions can they suggest for including technology in your curriculum map?
Discuss with your mentor two additional, meaningful ways to incorporate technology into your curriculum map and discuss the benefits of each for increasing student learning.
Use any remaining field experience hours to assist the mentor teacher in providing instruction and support to the class.
In 250-500 words, describe how you used technology in your curriculum map to differentiate for struggling students, as instructional enrichment, and for general instruction. What feedback or additional strategies were provided during your collaboration? Discuss how you plan to incorporate two additional technology-based resources or activities into your curriculum map.
