The objective of this project is to design and simulate a PWM
based closed loop dc-dc buck converter for low power application.
− Selection criteria for Buck converter components will be studied
and designed for low ripple and low noise.
− With variation in load and variation in input power supply output
supply voltage will be obtained as constant value by using PID
controller.
− The performance of converter will be analysed by controlling PID
controller.
− A modelling and simulation tool will be used in this project.
The
simulation and mathematical models will be done in:
MATLAB/Simulink and PSIM and then will be validated with
hardware implementation.
